K'ARTS MEDIA CONTENTS CENTER

The Media Contents Center in Korea National University of Arts was established on
July 2nd 2012 by Article 12 of the school regulations. It aims to contribute to the
development of Korean culture and arts by interacting with present students, the
alumni, and local communities. Through the consistent production, management
and distribution of excellent educational, cultural, and artistic contents created in
the school it helps bring communities together through art.

The Media Contents Center carries out a leading role in expanding the possibilities
of art education through e-learning. Additionally, it uses accumulated art capabilities
and various artistic materials to define cultural and artistic values in the country.
It helps to produce diverse cultural and artistic content through international ex-
change and industrial-academic cooperation.

For Premium membership : It is restricted to some members as Media Contents Center has exclusive rights.

    Center of Korea National University of Arts.

    Media Contents Center, established as an institution affiliated to Korea
    National University of Arts in 2012, is now providing more people of high-level
    media contents covering all parts of arts as in Music, Drama, Film, TV &
    Multimedia, Dance, Visual Arts and Korean Traditional Arts.

    We are supporting a wide range of genres, new creative art activities jumping
    over the barriers of existing art field. Our outstanding artists are not limiting
    themselves in school activities but also participating in various projects, which
    is changing their art values to practical values at the international level.

    Media Contents Center will always be faithful to its role as a hub for opening
    a new world full of creative activities.

    From Incheon Int’l Airport

    The Incheon International Airport (IIA), in the city of Incheon, is the biggest and main international airport in Korea. It is an about 1.5 hour car ride to Seokgwan-dong
    campus. For more information on transportation from the airport to downtown Seoul, please visit the IIA web site, http://www.airport.kr/eng/
    In cases where you use public transportation to get to K-Arts from Incheon International Airport, the quickest way is to come to downtown Seoul first and then to
    transfer to subway there. Time may vary depending on traffic situation of the day but it usually takes approximately one and a half hours.

    Go straight to Taereung -> Turn right at Dogoji station intersection ->
    Go straight toward HUFS -> At Sinimun three-way junction,

  • Can I see all contents of the homepage?
    Yes. Most of them are accessible if you join our homepage, except that some contents are restricted to premium members for their exclusive
    right status. E-learning contents are also available only to the members approved by Media Contents Center.
    Is it possible to utilize the media contents of the homepage for my personal purposes?
    No you can not because every content on our homepage has its own right holder. Neither do we download services. But don’t forget,
    you can use freely the contents with OPEN mark at no cost. For public purposes only, please e-mail us.
  • I’m a student of Korea National University of Arts and I'd like to distribute my content at Media Contents Center. Am I qualified for?
    If your content be produced in the school curriculum, it’s welcomed at Media Contents Center. But we don’t distribute the one unrelated to school.
    My content is not a film but a work of media art. Does Media Contents Center specialize in film distribution?
    Of course not. We deal with all media contents of 6 schools of Korea National University of Arts. If your media content is produced in the school
    curriculum, it would be introduced to divers festivals, markets and buyers at the international level by Media Contents Center.
    For how long is it valid my distribution services at Media Contents Center?
    For 5 years. If you would like to renew the distribution contract, we can do business for you beyond 5 years, especially for the homepage service.
  • Do I have to buy a ticket for Movie Theatre of Media Contents Center?
    In principle, it’s free of charge to everyone except the special screening.
    I’m obliged to use my car. What’s the parking fee?
    You can get a free pass when you inform the guard of your visit purpose at the main gate of Korea National University of Arts.
